Hi,
some days ago I've opened a thread to talk about the Modified folder within the iPhoto library (why it duplicates photos, why it does not let you consolidate changes or modify original photos etc)... Now, since I've understand that it always saves copies of the photos you modify, I'd like you to explain me the following thing: when I choose to import photos from my iPhone, it creates a new event and immediately it copies ALL the photos also within the Modified folder... WHY? If I do not modify anything, I simply import them, why does it need to duplicate the imported photos? I really do not like this "duplicate-everything" behavior of iPhoto, without a good reason and without giving you a choice..

Any good explanation for such a behavior?
