Hi folks,

I have this annoying issue where some photos in my library are upside down. I have tried the alt/command prompt and rebuilt the database - also completed all the other options with no success. It would take me forever to manually rotate every picture individually. Does anyone know of a fix without using 3rd party software?

I'm scratching my head wondering why this has happened.

My MacBook has 2 drives. One is a SSD with OSX and All my apps booting from it. The other is a sata HDD is for my storage. So the iPhoto app boots from the SSD and all my pictures; 8000+ are stored on the the sata HDD.

Any help much appreciated.

Paul

This might not be the solution you're looking for, but if you hold the Command key while clicking on various photos you can select many and then click Edit/Rotate left (or right) one time.

Or if all the photos are oriented incorrectly in the same direction and next to each other, just drag to select the whole bunch in the viewer and then click Edit/Rotate etc., the one time.
