iPhoto keeps crashing

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone else has problems with iphoto. Everytime I open it it freezes my imac (which is running 10.7.2) & then goes into recovery mode

When I do manage to load photo's it takes ages & then when ever I try to do anything else it freezes

Any ideas would be appreciated
