iPhoto keeps quiting immediately after open *PLEASE HELP!*

Hey guys, got a problem with my iPhoto apparently. Every time I open it, it crashes. I click on it in the dock, it bounces a few times, opens, then within two seconds of appearing to finish loading, it crashes. Every, single, time. It looks like it finishes starting up and like I'm good to start clicking on stuff, but before I do anything it automatically quits. I restarted my iMac, but it still does the same thing.

Any ideas?

Would I be right in assuming the crash is being caused by some kind of conflict with 3ivx? If so, how do I go about deleting whatever that is?

Try repairing permissions first before trying anything else.

Hold down the alt + apple (cant recall their real names) and see if you then get the rebuilding / repair menu.

Hold down the alt-option key and the command key and click on the iphoto icon to open. Select the last three options and click rebuild.
