1) if I fire up iPhoto it keeps telling me time after time that it has found 19 photos (recovered) in the library and asks me if I want to import them.

I click yes, it's imported, but the next time, the same popup comes up.
I click no, they don't get imported, but the enxt time the same popup comes up.

2) if I want to clear the trashbin of iphoto (containes 133 pics, but without a thumbnail), iphoto closes down, without any warning.

3) if I check the library within a Finder window: I see this chaos:

so...
3 questions:
1) any way to stop this?
2) any way to put the trash out?
3) is this chaos normal?

Just for the record:
I didn't manually replace or moved anything within the finder, and the errors started occuring after rearrangging, organising and keywording 5000 or so photos.

Any help would be HOT!

OW and yes, I did the comman-option rebuild library/thumbnail thing a few times already today. Doesn't solve the problem..

not sure what's going on here but the easiest thing i can think of is to move all your files somewhere else (create a backup, essentially), clear out the iPhoto Library folder (delete everything), and start over.

the import error is solved :)

I just (temporary)moved the import folder (in the finder) to my desktop, and relaunched iphoto.

Problem solved

Now t's just the trashbinerror that needs solving
