I used to have the following setup regarding my iPhoto library:
I keep my iPhoto library on a 1 TB internal drive; I rotate out a 500 GB drive for backups of that library that I keep off site. To spare the posts chastising me for not having sufficient backups, this is not my only backup, but the only one relevant to the question at hand.
My iPhoto library has just exceeded the space of the 500 GB hard drive, so I clearly need to get my hands on a bigger drive for my offsite backup. But is there a way to maybe split my library somehow, so I can, say, backup what I can fit on the 500? Or can I just select my photos and drag them to the 500 GB drive (I used to use SuperDuper to copy the iPhoto 1 TB drive mentioned earlier).
Any suggestions would be welcome.
