A couple of days ago I transfered my iPhoto library from our former external drive to our new Time Capsule. The first time this failed halfway, so I had to do it again and was able to transfer the entire library (>80Gb) to the Time Capsule. After that I trashed the former Library, but now a smaller library remains on the Time Capsule, holding >6Gb. I can't trash it, because of this message (translated from dutch): "The operation could not be completed because you do not have permission to access some parts."

I've tried to gain access by trying the following resolutions: Resolution For issue 1

If the item you are trying to unlock is a folder, use these steps:

Open Terminal (/Applications/Utilities).
Type this, followed by a space: sudo chflags -R nouchg
Drag the folder you would like to unlock into the Terminal window.
Press Return.
Enter your password and press Return.

And:

Gaining access by expanding acces properties of all enclosed items to all users in the Info menu.

But all this doesn't work.

I'm quite the Mac-newby, so any help is welcome!

The fact you mention "our" drive might indicate that another user has files in that library. You could try having the other user try to delete the files if that's what you want to do.

You can check the permissions for the files by using Get Info, command-I on the keyboard.
