My old camera took pictures in 16:9 which is pretty absurd, so I went through iPhoto and changed them to the standard 4:3 ratio so they display full screen on my iPad. This wasn't a fun experience. I deleted everything off the iPad by unselecting the iPhoto option in sync, then went to usage in the iPad settings and swiped to delete there to be sure. After this I did a sync and the photos copied over, but all remained in 16:9 despite being in 4:3 on the Mac. Repaired my disk permissions, repaired the database/thumbnail in iPhoto, deleted the photos off the iPad, restarted both devices then did another sync - still the same. I'm a bit confused now!

Any ideas, I'm on 10.8.2 and iOS6.0.1 with all of the latest updates included...
