Didn't realise but just read that iPhoto 9.5 now imports and organises movies as well.
So is it only mp4 files allowed? Should I convert all my videos to this format? I have IVi video converter that I use to convert stuff for allowing to play on Apple TV anyway.
How does it organises movies and videos? It won't do faces will it? Does it do places? How does it tag movies and videos for easy finding etc?
So what is iMovie four now, just purely editing, and then once complete its imported into iPhoto for cataloguing?
Do people use iPhoto to organise and store movies and videos now? I'm not talking actual films, more personal videos of family gatherings etc?
This will make the iPhoto database file much larger with videos in, but also easier to backup etc to time machine and manually (I sometimes copy the iPhoto database file to an external HDD for offsite backup to)
Thanks
