Can anyone help??? I have movies filmed on my digital camera stored in iphoto and am trying to export them into idvd without success! Is it the format of the movies clips (MVI.AVI) that is the problem. Have tried to open them in quick time player and export to a new format without success. Any suggestions would be greatly recieved.

If they don't open in QuickTime, you're pretty much out of luck. Make sure you have the latest version of QuickTime.

Save / export the movie as a Quicktime .mov file, you will need Quicktime Pro for this I think. You can then import the .mov in to iDVD

This doesn't help if you can't open the file in the first place.

See if your digital camera will let you record movies in other formats.
