iPhoto moving albums

My dad recently bought a mba and I am in the process of moving all the information from his old ibook to the air... anyway he has about 2000 photos and 50+ albums in iphoto... I moved the pictures over to the new computer fine, but for the life of me cannot find a way to move the albums as well... it will take me forever to remake all those albums... any ideas? thanks!!!

Did you move the entire Library folder or just the photos? Moving the entire folder should have kept the albums in place. If you just moved the photos, iPhoto won't know that they are to go into albums. Moving the whole folder should keep all the necessary files iPhoto needs to work properly.
