iPhoto network sharing problem.

Ok I am having serious grievous issues about iPhoto 6. I shared the entire library on my iMac G5 on the network, disabled the port (can't remember which one), I get a network icon below my Library on the macbook's iPhoto but whenever I try to mount it, it opens it, starts listing photos and then unmounts the shared library again, thus leaving me unable to share my entire photo collection using this apparently smart way of sharing.

Any help?

I have tried repairing permissions on both computers, but no dice.
