I just got a new iMac and I am trying to open iPhoto and I am getting this error below:

"to open your library with this version of iPhoto, it first needs to be prepared"

I have gone to apple.com and tried to download this tool:

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5037

any suggestions on how to either get that tool to work or just how to get my iPhoto to open.

THANKS.

What's the problem? Was there not a button to prepare the library in the dialog that popped up telling you that it needed to be prepared? Did you try to run the software that you linked to and it didn't work or what?
