I'm using a G4, 20" snowball iMac with OS X 10.4.4 and iPhoto 6. My entire library shows all the thumbnails, but when I click on a photo, then edit, I get a blank screen, or a dashed lined square around a question mark.

This only starting happening after I installed iLife '06. Is there a setting I'm missing. Thanks.

It sounds like your thumbnail cache may need rebuilding. If you hold down the 'option' button whilst iPhoto starts, it may give you some options there.

Option lets you choose which Library to use. Command-Option during startup lets you rebuild your library (be aware this takes quite a long time).
