iPhoto problem

Okayyyyyy, somehow I managed to make all my "events", with photos.... all merge into 1 large event.
So the question, HOW do I recreate these "folders/events", and have them display, sorted by name?

From iPhoto Help:

To split an Event:

Select Events in the Source list, and then open the Event you want to split.
Select the photo that marks the beginning of the new Event.
Click the Split button.
You can also choose Events > Split Event.
Click the placeholder title (next to the key photo) of your new Event to type a name. You can also type a new name in the Information pane in the bottom-left corner of the iPhoto window.
