Iphoto problem

iphoto is being really really slow. i mean not normally slow but stupidly slow. when i just click on a photo it takes about 20 seconds to open, ive reparied permissions but no help, anyone got any ideas?

What version of iPhoto is it? Did this occur suddenly? Did you install any software just prior to this happening?

its version 5.0.4 and ye i guess, one time i opened it and it was just acting uber slow, cant think of anything i installed. :S ARGH!

Okay, well find a file named com.apple.iPhoto.plist and drag it to the Desktop. This will reset all your iPhoto preferences to their default but it may help. The good news is that if it doesn't you can simply put the file back where you found it. Do this while iPhoto is closed.

If that doesn't work, then try rebuilding the library.
