I just got an iMac a few days ago, and it's my first Mac. I keep having problems with it telling me "X photos have been found in the iPhoto Library that were not imported." At one point, I thought it was just due to the way I tried importing my library over from my PC, and ultimately just wiped out the iPhoto library and started fresh. This worked for a while, until last night when I connected a memory card in via USB.

So now it's doing it again. It will prompt for the found photos, and regardless of whether I click Yes or No, it seems to take forever to respond (30 minutes to an hour), and when it finally does -- again, regardless of whether I clicked Yes or No the first time -- it prompts me for the found photos again!

I can't seem to get out of this infinite loop. And I really don't want to blow my library away again, because it took me forever to get it set up the first time (over 10k photos).

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
