iPhoto question, very strange Please help, thanks so much

Hey Guys.

I have a mac pro i5 running 10.6.8 and had a question that maybe someone could help regarding iPhoto.

spent the last 2 days editing pictures for a big presentation, and then realised at the end that iPhoto was not saving my edits completely.

It would save every edit except the "de noise" edit,

So when i click out of the edit field the picture would keep all the adjustments i had made (colour / exposure / crop etc , but would not save the de noise adjustments. weird right?

so i read on a forum this morning that i should try deleting the playlist file from the applications folder, of which i did, (not knowing that i would lose all my pictures that were imported into iPhoto)

so i spent the next few hours trying to locate all the pictures again and importing them into iphoto.

and it has not fixed the problem

Would be stoked if anyone could help me figure out how to keep the de noise edits / adjustments i am making on these pics.. ???

only time i can see the "de noise" adjustments or edits is when i am on the edit screen.
