iPhoto question

Is there any way for me to change my default video player in iphoto from quicktime to vlc??? I want to be able to open a video through iphoto and have it open with VLC and not quicktime. My 2.2 SR mbp has been having alot of problems with quicktime. Every time I open a video it will play for about 5-10 seconds. then stop playing for 10 seconds then pickup the video 10 seconds later.

What type of video format are you trying to play?

most of my videos in iphoto are from my canon digi which is .avi
