Hi Everyone -

I have recently merged my wife's iPhoto library with my iPhoto library.

Of course, we have duplicates. However, is there a way to quickly have all duplicate pictures listed (via a smart album or something) so I can quickly start deleting the duplicates. With iTunes, there is a 'Show Duplicates' and while I understand why there isn't such a button in iPhoto I thought maybe there was still a way.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

iPhoto normally detects duplicates whilst importing. Of course, this will only work if the pictures are identical (not too sure on the specifics, but I imagine that if the file names and file sizes are the same, it will flag them up as dups).

Sorry, I realise that doesn't help you much but it's worth noting.
