iPhoto refuses to show scrolling info.

I've been wondering why iPhoto refuses to show scrolling information when scrolling, even though i have this checked in preferences. I have photos dating back from 2003 but when scrolling nothing shows up.

Any ideas?. Also whats the "Add Colorsync Profile" feature for?
