I had to restore my iPhoto pics from Carbonite. When carbonite asked where to restore the pics I chose 'desktop' because it said if I put them in the original place it might overwrite what was there. Not having done this before I didn't want to take the chance of ruining anything in iPhoto.

Aaanyhow....now I have the cabonite restore folder on my desktop. When I launch iPhoto from there I can then launch it from iPhoto in the dock but

if I delete the carbonite restore folder from the desktop or put it in my documents folder in Find the iPhoto on the dock loses all the pics again.

I'm guessing I can just drag the iPhoto from the carbonite folder to the dock iPhoto but I sure don't want to mess things up again.

Is it that simple :confused:
