Hi Chaps,

I'm probably being really dumb but I thought the camera was 8MP. I understand Mega Pixels so its not much of an issue, I was just wondering...

Thanks for the info.

If its come through photostream it will have been down sized.

It doesn't do this on the mac, so it isn't a band width issue. I think it's just to help you save space on your iPad.

To get your full size images I think you need to use the camera connection kit. Syncing from iPhoto on mac also seems to resize your pictures to save space.

Ahh ok. So I shouldn't rely on Photo Stream if I want to get the best out a picture?

mmmm, I emailed myself a photo at the "full size" opened it up in Iphoto and it still says 3.1MP (1.3MB) the actual size of the photo is (5.3MB)

Weird?

Don't worry. I'm an idiot. I was still in the "PhotoStream" folder. *facepalm*

The photo saved to my camera roll is in fact 8MP.

Thanks!
