I have noticed a bug using screensavers with iPhoto in 10.8:
I use a screensaver with photos from an iPhoto album. If iPhoto is open when the computer starts the screensaver the photos displayed are from the default National Geographic folder. Everything works well if iPhoto is closed. After the NG screensaver has started I have to go into system preferences and change it back to my iPhoto album.
I have searched the forum and no one seems to have posted this bug, but does anyone have an idea of what can be causing this? Or how to fix it? (other than: use Lightroom/Aperture/better photo software). I know one way to 'avoid' this is just remembering to exit iPhoto, but the library is quite large (approaching 1 TB, I really shouldn't be using iPhoto) so starting up and quitting the application takes a while.
Thanks.
