On The Nickel, over there....
I'd like to know the total size of my iPhoto library in GB. For instance, in iTunes the size is right there at the bottom of the iTunes window. How can I find the total size of my iPhoto? It only shows the number of events and total number of items, not the total size.
I'm using iPhoto '09, version 8.1.2
Thanks for any help!

iPhoto GB size in Limitation?

I would like to know who can tell me what limits the amount of memory that can be downloaded into iPhoto? My existing memory of iPhoto 09 ver 8.1.2 is 13.6GB and I want to download more photos, about 5GB more.

Is the size limit of photos (in GB) determined by what is left on my HD? Same with i Tunes? or does iPhoto have a max? Maybe roadbloc knows?

I would imagine that the biggest limitation would defined by the file system and the hard drive size.

I don't think you are going to have a problem with your needs though.

As much disk as you can throw at it

What do you mean by As much disk as you can throw at it? Please elaborate.

What he means is that the iPhoto library will continue getting bigger, the more photos you add it it. Running out of disk space is the only limitation. The iPhoto library does not have a maximum file size. As long as you have the disk space, it will continue to grow the more photos you add to it.

Thanks roadbloc , Very helpful.
Do you know iPhoto pretty well?
I am looking for someone who I can hire to consult me on it via a few phone sessions. It has many advantages. Will provide compensation.
Are you up for that? If yes, call me to schedule. 906 485 4056. EST
