I want to do a slide show in iPhoto, I don't want to use music, which I can turn off. I also want to be able to just cruise through my slide show and give a verbal explanation to each slide. I don't want the icons to move forward, backwards or pause to come up. Does iPhoto have this capability? If so, I need to know asap as my slide show is due in 1 day!
Thanks!
Christie D.

I think the only problem might be with getting the slides to progress manually rather than automatically after a set time. I'm not sure that bit's possible but the rest certainly is. :)

This is an odd solution but works, just set the timer for a couple of minutes  Way after the time it takes to talk, etc. Than you can manually switch between photo's.

If you have iPhoto 06, why not just go into full screen mode. There you can control the "slideshow" by hitting the arrow keys.
