iPhoto Slideshow Order

Okay, I've searched high and low, messed with all the settings I can find and I still can't figure this one out.

Here's the issue:

Photos are imported from my camera to iPhoto
Select photos are copied into an album
*All the photos are arranged from most recent on*

How can I reverse the order of the slide show to chronological order without manually dragging and dropping them?

This is a slideshow of a backpacking trip and I want the photos to show in the order in which they were taken.

This is a little bit unbelievable! Please, someone shed some light on this subject by informing us how it's done! Or confirm that something as simple as reversing the order by date is an impossible task for iPhoto.

Macs......photos......iPhoto....... what a crock!
