iPhoto slideshow to iDVD question

Is is possible to bring an iPhoto slideshow created with a THEME into iDVD? I can SHARE a "basic" slideshow to iDVD, but when I create one with a theme, i.e., Scrapbook, it doesn't work in iDVD.

I've just done it. Which OS/iPhoto/iDVD versions are you using?

Snow Leopard / iPhoto ’09 / iDVD 7.1.2

I'd like to make sure I was clear: After creating a slideshow in iPhoto using the scrapbook THEME [multiple photos on each page] AND 2 different songs, the slideshow shows up in iDVD as a BASIC slideshow of 1 photo at-a-time, playing only the 1st song, repeating it when it finishes.

OK, so my first attempt was just 4 photos. However, just tried 135 photos, two songs in Scrapbook and it works fine. iPhoto09 v 8.1.2 and iDVD 7.1.2

I'm obviously doing something wrong. Would it be asking too much for you to tell me what steps you used after creating the iPhoto slideshow?

Just clicked on iDVD in the Share menu.
