Iphoto slideshow troubles

Hi there.

I have a problem using iphoto. I stored some pictures with all the keywords on a DVD. And afterwards, when I tried to create a slideshow to include it in a Family DVD, it was impossible to import the pictures. I could import to the library or to a slideshow any picture from the DVD, but it was impossible to import the pictures shown by the iphoto search data system. So, if I can't use the keywords out of the library stored in my powerbook... what is the goal of the data search?

Anyone can help me.
