iPhoto slideshow with shared music

Wherever the water flows
I have over 100GB of music on my user and my mom (pro photographer) has 200GB of photos on her user. I share my music to everyone in the family but I can't access that shared music when making an iPhoto Slideshow. I doesn't make sense (and we don't have the HD room) to copy my music or her pics twice. How can I use my music on her slideshows.
