This is obviously a minor gripe, but when scrolling in iPhoto the photo thumbnails seem to get slightly pixelated until you stop scrolling - is there any way to stop this? I've got a Core 2 Duo sitting here ;)

glad to know that I'm not alone. Though I was always attributing this to my G4 chips. Interesting that it still happens with C2D.

wish I could help

It used to happen even on my G5 PowerMac...

It happens far far far less on my c2d with 2gb ram... but it does happen from time to time.

i think every computer does this. my guess would be that it's easier to deal with pixelated images scrolling through hundreds, maybe thousands, of thumbnails, taking less ram to process all the images. it then renders the full thumbnails when the scrolling comes to rest. just a guess, but i've always had this, from a g4 ibook to a g5 powermac to a 2.4 ghz macbook pro.
