Hi, does anyone know how to create a Smart Album in iPhoto that will show all my photos that don't have any faces in them. (I'm ok at creating one for 'unnamed' faces).

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I have a solution to create an album that don't have any faces in it, but it's not a actual "smart" album.

EDIT : tried something else that works :

Smart album :

face - is not - first_face +
face - is not - second_face +
face - is not - third_face +
etc....

first, second, third, etc...face are the faces' names in "faces".

Thanks for the response, but I've got over 200 faces and iPhoto will only let you specify 10 conditions. I'm sure there must be a simpler way.

There is a way by hiding all the photos with a face in them at a time, but it's not very smart.

EDIT : another way :

- tag all the photos with a face in them with the keyword : "face".

- create a smart album : keyword - is not - face

That's sorted it, thanks. I just tweaked your idea slightly and used the following to create a smart album that showed all faces.

Match 'any' of the following conditions
Face - Contains - a -
Face - Contains - e -
Face - Contains - i -
Face - Contains - o -
Face - Contains - u -
Face - Contains - y -
