I currently have a MacMini connected to my TV and I plan on running a HDMI cable to my bar area where I will use my bt mouse/keyboard to control it. My wife will kill me if I add anything else around the TV area so I want to get a NAS for all our Photos/videos. I guess I would just put the SD card in the Macmini and direct my Iphoto library to the NAS but would it be laggy over Cat5? Also, any suggestions on a NAS, I dont need more than 2TB right now, Thanks for any advice!
