iPhoto to Aperture Transfer Help!

Hello,

I am using apple's prescribed method to switch photo library from iPhoto '11 to Aperture 3. However, Aperture keeps on telling me that my iPhoto library is version 7.1.5 or below and I need to upgrade. This is clearly false. Does anybody know how I can solve this problem?
