Iphoto to recognize SD card as camera?

Hey,

Quick question.... is it possible to have osx think that when I plug in my sd card as in my external reader, it thinks that it is a camera? ... so that iphoto and picassa recognize it as a camera and can more easily import photos from it?

OSX will see it as a camera card if the card was formatted using the camera.

hmph.... doesn't seem to work with my sd card.... reformat it?
