iPhoto unable to share using iCloud?

iPhoto Version 9.6
OS: Yosemite 10.10.1

I'm trying to share some photos on iCloud. I'm doing this by either dragging the selected photos to the iCloud icon in the "Shared" section, or using the "Share" option in the bottom-right, then "Create new Photo Stream" and the 'Public Website" option.

I am able to create the shared photo stream, but no subsequent photos are being uploaded or added to the stream, even if I leave it for several hours or try to add different photos.

Can anyone suggest a way for me to fix this? Is there a specific option I should or shouldn't be using?

Edit: Solved.

I disabled then reenabled all the sharing options in both iPhoto [iPhoto Preferences/ iCloud], and the System Preferences/iCloud section]. Whole thing seemed to spring into life.
