Are iphoto and Photo's as good as each other at colour correcting and repairing scratchy scans of old negs or prints? Which is better, and why?
 
Neither are particularly good, but I'd imagine Photos is probably faster. In the past I found Photoshop Elements was better than iPhoto, if that matters, and Nikon's ICE was by far the best. Dunno if they even make it anymore. Photoshop would probably have the best automated tools for the job.
