If I want to adjust settings on a picture, do I need to duplicate it? Last night I created a folder for altered pictures, I dragged in a photo, adjusted some settings and saved it. if I go back to the folder where the original is, its been altered as well and the original original is gone. (Fortunately I have the pics on the camera still).
Whats the best plan of attack here??

Huh, I haven't done a lot of stuff with editing in iPhoto but I did notice a folder in the iPhoto Library folder that said "modified" above a folder that said "originals" and saw that all the photos I edited the red eye out of were in there. I just assumed that it put the modified file in that folder and left the original where it goes. I was actually kinda bummed about this since I have no use for the file WITH red eye and I'd rather it just overwrite it...
