iphoto videos into imovie

On my event library, when i click on iphoto videos, it says " no video clips match the current selection" My selection is ALL CLIPS. all I want to do is be able to see the iphoto videos I have and drag them into projects. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.
 
OP, did you ever figure out a solution? I'm using iMovie '11 and am having the same issue...

EDIT: To anyone wondering, all I had to do was let iMovie create the thumbnails. They all appeared after it finished.

Sorry it took so long to write back. I'm glad u saw iMovie could create them. I was trying to remember what happened since its been so long since I used iMovie. I really need to go back and relearn it and actually use it. :)
