I just got my new ipad , and pretty happy with everything. However, i imported my entire photo library from iphoto on my mac, and everything seemed to go into the "photos" part instead of iphoto. I thought the idea of iphoto was that everything went in there so you could edit them, and photos was for pictures you took using your device?

Suggestions?

You have to import your photos into iPhoto as well. The regular photos app is just for viewing.

I synced mine to iTunes via the wifi option. I selected the photo events I wanted and it worked. I can see the photos both in iPhoto and Photos.
