Hi guys!

You've not let me down yet so here goes!
When I look at one of my photos in iphoto, and zoom in on an area it refocuses and looks great. However, if I crop a photo, when it resizes itself to the constrained proportions it is blurry.
Is it possible to zoom on the area I want and then crop from the zoom, or is there a way to refocus a cropped photo?

Thanks
Jo

What version of iPhoto? I think I saw a bug in 9 that would do what you are talking about. Try to doing your crop and restart iPhoto, hit Command + Q, then restart it. I remember something similar, its worth a shot. :D

Hi
I have tried what you said, crop the picture, then Command Q, which shuts down iphoto, and when you open it again the cropped picture is back in focus. It works, but seems a long winded way to do it. Works for now though. Thanks.
