Sorry all, but i have a rather simple question......should my iMac come with iPhoto already installed? This is my first mac so I'm still learning how to get around on the system. There reason is i don't have it on the dock and when I go to the app store they want to me to pay $15 for if.

Software :OS X 10.8.3 (12D78)

Thanks in Advance

Did you buy it new from Apple? Or was it a refurbished unit?

It should come with iPhoto. Have you looked into the Applications folder (Finder > CMD+SHIFT+A) yet?

If you bought it used and the original owner erased the drive, you will not have iPhoto. If you bought it new, you would be able to go to the App Store and get a free copy. But since you bought it used, you will have to pay for the iLife apps

Yes, i just got off the phone with Apple and the gave me all 3 of them free due to the fact that they all should come with the mac, so thanks everyone.
