iPhoto09, Garageband09, etc. [iLife09] Crashing!?!?

Hi,

Recently, in the middle of working with applications in iPhoto09 they simply crash. I get a message stating no harm was done but it's getting annoying as it's happening more often than not. I am new to mac, have had it now for maybe two weeks, but wouldnt expect apps to crash this often. Any thoughts?

I'm hoping that the recent updates for all I came across will help. If they don't, I'll repost. Sorry for not checking for updates first...

Well, the update didnt work. GB just crashed after I spent a nice 45 mins making a song. Any thoughts as to why this is happening? This is a BRAND NEW mac...

You could try the usual maintenance (zapping pram, fixing permissions), reinstalling iLife or OS X itself, but since it's a new Mac, it probably isn't a software issue. If nothing helps, take it in for warranty, it could be bad RAM or something similar.
