iPhoto11 - insufficient disc space bug

I install iPhoto11 from "15-inch macbook pro aplication install dvd". Update app via "software updates" And at the first and second (and third) start iPhoto told me that "iPhoto can not import your photos because there is not enough spase on the volume containing your iPhoto library". "About this mac" told me that I have lots of free space on the HDD. How can I fix this problem ?
