iPhoto's "burn" button

I'd like to burn photos, using the title, not file names, to a CD without having them nested in the iPhoto folder structure, but can't seem to make this work.

I know I can export to a folder on the desktop and use my burning app of choice, but method seems like unnecessary work.

I'm giving these photos to a friend and would like for them pop the CD into their computer, open the CD and have the photos at the root of the disc.

Isn't this the way it always goes? After Googling and searching this forum, without a good answer, I post, only to find somethign similiar seconds later.

I just came across this thread. It appears as though my answer is "no" and I'll have to export and then burn. I'm still open to suggestion.
