Hi all - apologies if I don't have enough information here, please tell me what else you need to know.

I'm using the lockdown to try to sort through all of my digital files. I thought I would go through some old photos (circa 2010).

I have an iPhotos library that appears to be about 11GB, but I can't open it. I tried to use the "show content package" to copy the original files over to somewhere else for safekeeping. There only seems to be about 4GB in those files.

When I look into the "data" folder, I can see many of the photos that I'm looking for but only fragments (i.e. faces and much smaller file sizes).

Is there anyway to still access those original files or a way to open up an iPhotos folder?

Thanks in advance!

The Photos app will open iPhoto libraries. Hold down the option key while you launch photos. Then you can choose to open that library.
