As you can probably tell from the title i get a sick satisfaction from bodging stuff.
Wanted an SSD because of how nice and fast they are so ive found the cheapest possible way to do it, costing me a total of £51
. Still a work in progress as ive come up with a nice and nastily cheap way to have both drives running. Sadly theres an adapter which i cant get away without buying.
Anyway, just thought i'd post up some pics as i havent seen any info of installing an SSD without pissing away money on SSD installation kits or DataDoublers.
Yep, thats Gaffa tape.

Was going to gaffa tape the SSD to this optical drive mount but i reckon ill just velcro it to the aluminium case.

I have to buy a sodding Slimline sata to Serial ATA adapter.. doesn't appear to be any way around it. Sadly this is going to whack the budget of my install upto around £56 Sterling.
