I've seen a couple threads in other areas saying the iPod touch 2G MC IS ok with some software, but then its excluded in the fine print.

Is there one that works for this?
Its almost new 8GB iPod 2G-MC version that has been updated to 4.0 using iTunes 9.2
Thanks in advance for the clarification.

Ok, so I used Sn0wbreeze, then downloaded the ipsw files onto my desktop.
I put it into recovery mode, hit shift while hitting 'restore' in iTunes.
I thought all was going well, but i got an error 1604, and had to restore completely.
When I ran sn0wbreeze, it said MC is NOT supported..

Yes I know that it says it's not supported. Follow the guide and it tells you that the new bootrom is supported. Trust me, it works just fine IF (and of only if) you have your shsh blobs save for 3.1.2. You have to first downgrade before you run sn0wbreeze 1.7.

Can you please tell me how to Jailbreak my Ipod Touch 2g iOS4 "MC" with sn0wbreeze 1.7. I really am optionless right now
