Hi,
why should one only want to store video, mp3, etc. on a 30GB iPod?
Is it possible to use 30/80GBVideo iPod as a Hard Disk via USB port for streaming wav, aif data when working/composing with programs like Cubase SX or Logic?
Anyone tried that, what are your comments....
Regards
Jana

yeah you can use the Ipod as a harddrive which makes you able to use it like any other harddrivem - but you can't access the itunes part at all (hidden directory).

so if you want to stream music from your music library you're out of luck, sorry

Hi mufflon,

I am not really into the iTunes yet, so I am not familiar with its song/playlist structure inside the box.
What is interesting for me regardding this unit is that I can use it as a HD on the road with my laptop via USB to playback wav, aif sound samples needed by my sequencer programme.
Do you by any chance know how the rest of "unhidden HS space" is available - as a partition, or as a folder? Can it be used / seen either on Win or OSX machine.
Any news reagarding this request is highly appreaciated.
all the best
Jana
