i am buying an ipod 30gb for sure buti dont no if it is a good idea to buy a refurbished one or not.... can somebody voice there opinion on the matter

also can u only put videos from itunes on the ipod or can i like drag the dvd icon that comes up on my mac to my ipod and it be on there

If you really know that you want an iPod the refurbished section is fairly good if you want to save some money. I have had my iPod 4th Gen Refub for about a year. It arrived in New Condition. So I say go for it if you want it.

You have to first convert the DVD to a mp4 file (which is the file type that is compatible with the ipod) using Handbrake or similar program, and then you drag the file into iTunes and then update the iPod.

my dad bought our family a refurbished imac g5 about 3 years ago and it still works great. it comes with the same apple warranty. so i would say go ahead and do it to save some cash
